Chickens

Through a friend, I have been fortunate to use images of her real-life chickens, thanks to Clyde and Olive Oyl. Their expressions often take on a human quality that is both striking, charming, and humorous. The shapes of their tails and combs seem to lend themselves pique assiette, a mosaic technique that uses bits and pieces of tile and china.
